The results are in from the Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2017, and as their slogan says, they take no shortcuts, just honest impartial judging. We certainly can’t think of a better, more honest way to get a true review of our line of Bourbon Creams. With that, we are excited and proud to announce all three Woody’s Northwoods Bourbon Creams scored big with excellent, highly recommended ratings in the mid 90’s from the judges at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2017!
Woody’s Honey Bourbon Cream Scores 93
Getting top honors in the Woody’s family of bourbon cream liquors is our Honey Bourbon Cream. Made with bourbon and real American honey, Woody’s Northwoods Honey Bourbon Cream creates as sweet and spicy symphony for your tastebuds to enjoy. It seems the judges at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2017 agree. Here is what they had to say:
USC 2017 Honey Bourbon Cream Tasting Notes:
Reminiscent of breakfast cereal in milk on the nose; honey, vanilla, sweet spice, and whipped cream come to mind. Creamy and decadent on the palate, malted milk ball, vanilla, and honey intertwine and last on the tongue.
Woody’s Maple Bourbon Cream Scores 92
Our Spicy and syrupy sweet Maple Bourbon Cream is known for the comfort it brings from the real American maple syrup we blend with the spicy notes of bourbon. It’s safe to say the Ultimate Spirit Challenge judges thoroughly enjoyed it.
USC 2017 Maple Bourbon Cream Tasting Notes:
This indulgent cordial packs decadent flavors of maple candy, whiskey soaked oak, and fresh cream. The luscious palate features further confectionary flavors but stays true to the forest-y tones of fresh maple syrup.
Woody’s Original Bourbon Cream Scores 92
Last but certainly not least is our Original Bourbon Cream. This mixture of fiery bourbon mixed with silky smooth, cool cream liquor was no disappointment to the USC17 judges.

A soft nose of caramel and creamy coffee is gentle and inviting. Milky in the mouth, flavors of mild bourbon, maple and vanilla mix with notes of rich full fat cream to make a smooth and easy sip.
